Question: Why am I not getting enough hot water?
Answer: If you're not getting enough hot water, you either have an old, inefficient water heater or you have too many people using the hot water at the same time and your water heater can't keep up with the demand. This happens in large families when the dishwasher, washing machine and a shower or bath is being run at the same time.
It's also possible that your dip tube has come loose and the cold water being pumped into the tank is sitting on top of the heated water, so you only get hot water for a couple minutes before you're getting cold water again.
In any case, you will want to have a plumber check it out. Looking for Charlotte area plumber to examine your water heater? Give us a call!
