E.R. Services has teamed up with WSOC-TV to award $10,000 to the school of the high school football player of the year.
On July 12, 2018, WSOC-TV Channel 9 and "High School Football Extra’s Big 22" announced the 22 high school football players who have been determined as the top preseason standouts from area high school teams for the 2018 season. Watch what happens behind the scenes and find out how E.R. Services is involved (be sure to watch the video) here.
Coaches from public and private high schools located in the WSOC-TV, Channel 9 viewing area in North Carolina and South Carolina were asked to nominate three players from their team and two players from other schools to be considered for the “Big 22.” The final 22 were selected by the WSOC-TV sports department after reviewing the coaches’ nominations and using a set of judging criteria.
And the Winner Is...
... Landon Honeycutt of Mount Pleasant High School!
Landon Honeycutt of Mount Pleasant High School was chosen as the player of 2018. E.R. Services awarded Mount Pleasant High School $10,000 to continue their excellence in sports and development of high school students.
Dave Parker, owner of E.R. Services, is a huge football fan, but most of all, he's dedicated to improving the Charlotte metro area in any way he can. The Big 22 is just one of many charitable efforts Dave and the E.R. Services team take on throughout the year. Check in with us throughout the year to see what the team is doing next and to find out how you can join us in making a difference here in the Queen city!
The $10,00 that we awarded to Mount Pleasant High School was spent to improve the weight room at Mount Pleasant High School. Together we proved that small towns can do BIG things! Check out the pictures of the improved gym!
