Customer called about possible slab leak. Location of water showing up between hallway and kitchen entrance. Performed a series of test and diagnostics and nothing about what I was seeing was consistent with a slab leak. Started to think outside the box. Located locations in walls where I knew plumbing lines were ran. Noticed a cabinet on the wall that looked new and it is located on a wall that the bathroom is on the other side. Customer stated that cabinet was just hung 2 weeks ago which is consistent with when the leak started. Opened a small hole in dry wall under cabinet and confirmed water leaking in the wall. Got permission from customer to remove cabinet. Removed cabinet and found contractor had mounted cabinet to a 3in pvc waste line. Cut out damaged section of pipe and repaired new pipe and with 2 no hub bands. Tested. Not responsible for drywall repair. Dispatch fee waived do to office Re scheduling.
Performed one system AC maintenance today. Checked all electrical components at this time. System is operating as it should with no issues. Chemically washed outdoor unit and condenser coil. Left unit running at this time.
Performed one system Ac maintenance today. System overall is running fine with no issues at this time. However, mentioned replacement of the gas regulator on the furnace due to age. Also, recommended adding a hard start kit to the outdoor unit to improve system operation. Homeowner declined at this time. Left unit running in the schedule homeowner has set up.
On arrival customer was attempting to figure out if the collapsed pipe they discover was tied into their exsisting bathroom line after camera was inserted through clean out in front of office bathrooms I ran it roughly 65 ft and approached on a man hole (that was confirmed from the engineer of their newly added building section) I attempted to run the camera through the outlet pipe of the man hole and could only get about 10 more feet before getting stopped pulled back the camera marked where the man hole drop is and showed Tim it did not appear to be affecting any of the restroom activity at this time rest room trunk line does have a belly in it from around 30-50 ft in line is 10 ft deep at clean out …no further issues at this time
- Arrived on site. - Evaluated toilet in the master bedroom upstairs. - There are 2 leaks at the toilet. - The plastic closet bolts had worked loose and the push/pull stop valve was leaking. - I turned the water off to the house. - I pulled the toilet and removed the stop valve. - I installed a new stop valve, toilet supply line, closet bolts, and wax seal. - I reset the toilet and turned the water to the house back on. - I tested the toilet by flushing numerous times. - The toilet and stop valve are no longer leaking.
- Arrived on site. - Customer told me about the leaking toilet in the master bathroom. - I tested the toilet, it is leaking from the bottom when flushed. - I explained to the customer that it needed a new wax seal. - I turned off and disconnected the water and removed he oiler. - I put a new wax seal down and reset the toilet. - I tested the toilet. - It is no longer leaking and is flushing properly.
Performed a one time tune up on a 2018 rheem split ac unit with a media filter at the unit. I found the condenser coil extremely dirty, after cleaning coil everything is working good at this time. Recommend signing up for the membership to benefit from the perks, as well as a hard start kit for the system to reduce wear and tear on the system and stress from the dirty coil. The customer only wants to do the one time tune up and emailed the recommendations.
Arrived on site and spoke with in the lady in the office about a leak in the bathroom ceiling. I got a ladder and climbed up into the storage area in the shop where I found a three-quarter poly Tee that is leaking. I also noticed that the 19 gallon electric heater in the over head storage is leaking as well. I will provide an estimate to supply and replace this water heater. I spoke with Weston and gave him pricing, he said to proceed with the waterline repair. He also ask that I email him the estimate for the 19 gal. water heater. I turn the water off at the main shut off valve in the shop. We drained the system down from the bathroom. Went back up into the storage area, cut out and removed the bad fitting and several feet of pipe. We replaced it with PEX pipe and fittings. We then turn the water back on and pressurize the system, checked the repair to make sure nothing was leaking and everything checked OK at this time. We clean up the work area.
Arrived on site and spoke with Ms. Helms concerning a water leak in the front office of the building. There is water damage on a front column at the bottom and the top. There is no damage to the ceiling tiles above. I open an access panel on this wall and there is a waterline but no sign of moisture. The spot on the wall is not wet at this time. I informed her that she may want to contact a roofer to have our roof checked. This is not a plumbing leak.
843-867-8011 Rick…. Arrived on site and found that all three bathrooms and janitors closet sink were stocked up in the front offices. I did not find any clean outs inside the building and Rick said that they had previously snaked it through the floor drain. I attempted to clear the blockage from a full drain in the janitors closet but was unable to. I then spoke with another gentleman Who showed me a clean out outside the building that was holding water. This is in the area where they built a new warehouse so I attempted to clear the mainline from the clean out and was unable to go any further than about 40 feet. I pulled back the cable and had mud on the end of it. I then ran the vision camera and located a point where the camera stopped, due to the pipe being full of water we could not see the brick. I located this area with the locator and it is about 3 feet inside the new warehouse in reinforced concrete about 4 feet deep. Tim stated that this pipe was hit during construction. The
Performed one system AC maintenance today. System overall checked out great. However, did find that there is a pitted contactor on the outdoor unit as well as a capacitor reading low (still within range). Homeowner approved the motor start switch at this time. Replaced and tested system operation. Left unit running in the AC mode at this time. Replace pitted motor start switch.
Arrived onsite and customer has sewage overflowing in basement where an ol bathroom existed. Due to the sewage everywhere I cannot determined if the old shower drain was capped off correctly. Customer did mention they have a septic tank and had it pumped recently but were having issues. I informed customer to have a septic company back out to verify if the tank as working properly and to have restoration out to clean up the area. Once this is done if its not a septic issue we can then return to clear the line or camera the sewer if that is what is needed
